Tree UpdateSo remember that 100' oak that fell in our backyard in July...
We finally got it taken care of. They came in with this enormous crane, cut it up into sections and lifted it directly over the house. Renee and Eliot filmed from a safe spot across the street. Unbelieveably, they left Kaya inside the house to fend for herself in case tragedy struck. Evidently, she has fallen down a notch on the rescue scale. :( We still love her though.

First Flight

Going to visit the grandparents, and the great-grandparents, and aunts and uncles, and other friends and family!

So yesterday, September 20th, was Eliot's due date... we went out to celebrate - a sort of "rebirthing", one might say. Grace was happy she got to be there this time around.

Eli wore what was originally supposed to be his "going home" outfit!

Eliot has become a bit of a chunk... weighed in yesterday at a whopping 10 pounds!
I'm kinda glad he came at least a bit early!

We're wondering if he might yet grow a third chin...
